Dennis is currently producing kielbasa at a very well known sausage plant: Gaspar’s Sausage Co., Inc., N. worked at Highland Park Market and started the SBN Realty Co., and Dennis bought Brown’s Market, New Britain, CT.ĭennis developed a rebirth of Bugnacki’s kielbasa, forming Bugnacki’s Specialty Meats, LLC in 2016. Tom started MTS Builders, Manchester, CT with son Michael, Frank Jr. The three brothers went their separate ways in differing occupations. By 1988 the business was not prospering and faced closing. In 1979, Bugnacki’s had a new plant built for them at 50 Batson Dr., Manchester, CT. The three brothers and Tom's son Michael worked together making the main product - Bugnacki’s kielbasa. This provisions business flourished, however Western Beef Mart did not and they closed it. There, Bugnacki’s Special Meat Products, Inc was born, developing recipes and producing Bugnacki’s kielbasa, frankfurters, knockwurst, bratwurst, bologna, salami, Italian hot & sweet sausage, liverwurst, various loaves, pressed ham, etc. Tom and Dennis renovated a defunct processing plant at 410 Prospect St., E. ![]() managed it together with their young brother Dennis who worked after school and weekends at the store. The Manchester store remained very successful. Within a three-year period the two additional stores were closed. opened another Western Beef Mart in Willimantic, CT and another in Enfield, CT. This store was overwhelmingly successful. ![]() In 1964 they opened Western Beef Mart, 63 Tolland Tpke., Manchester, CT. ![]() In 1962 they opened a retail meat market on Oakland Street, Manchester, CT. They ran this business and began cutting, wrapping and freezing beef cattle and lamb. The Bugnackis named it Silk City Packing, Inc. family entered the meat business back in 1959 purchasing a slaughterhouse from William Bogner, Sr., Manchester Packing, Inc.
